Regional Museum of Ica

This impressive collection of pre-Hispanic objects comes from different areas of the region and from different cultures: tissues of Paracas decorated with feathers, Nazca’s ceramics, mummies of children or birds, trepanned skulls (for certain medical reasons, they cut a piece of skull to alleviate the pressure), reproduction in miniature of Nazca geoglyphs, Inca utensils… The diversity of objects, of explanations and of the origin of those treasures, made of this place one of the most beautiful museums of the region.
